This amber cognac, radiant with mahogany reflexes, shows floral notes of like jasmine and violet, along with hints of candied fruit, plums and cinnamon. Sophisticated and elegant on the nose, combined with a delicate touch of oak, floral aromas and ending with a rich, harmonious finish.

If you are looking for particularly old cognacs, you will find them in the cognacs labelled X.O. (eXtra Old) cognacs. It is the oldest of the cognac varieties and comes across as particularly dark and powerful. Cognacs of this variety mature in the barrel for at least ten years - as has been stipulated since 1 April 2018. The oldest of the cognac varieties is often called Très Vieux, Vieille Réserve, Extra, Royal, Hors d'âge or Napoléon. The latter designation in particular refers to cognacs of a particularly high quality.
