Reflecting Baron Philippe's ambition, the discreet Eau-de-Vie de Vin upholds the centuries-old tradition of fruit brandy production on the estate. Crafted with the same care and precision as the house's renowned wines, this artisanal spirit is passed down from generation to generation, treated as a cherished secret. Carefully selecting the finest harvest, the spirit undergoes double distillation in copper stills, capturing its finest aromas and flavors. Aging for 15 to 30 years in oak barrels, the spirits from different years are skillfully blended, resulting in a unique character that is distinctly Mouton Rothschild.
Nose: shows notes of vanilla, combined with aromas of peach and apricot, complemented by an elegant floral note.
Tongue: immediately appealing, with a perfect harmony of ripe fruit, liquorice and mild spice flavours, underlined by a complex bouquet that combines power and refinement, leading to a soft and balanced finish.
Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Cabernet Franc
