Great companion to braised meat, entrecôte, rump steak, black truffles and côte de bœuf. Also suitable with lamb, confit de canard and hard cheese.
The name "Angélus" derives from the location of the estate, which is equidistant from three surrounding chapels, so that the Angelus, which rings three times a day according to Catholic tradition, can be heard from three sides at once. On an area of 26 hectares, 50% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Franc and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon are planted, the average age of the vines is 30 years.
