Baricci
In 1967, together with some other producers, Baricci founded the "Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino", a free association of producers to protect, defend and promote their wine. The wine Brunello, unknown at that time, was only produced in small quantities by a few winegrowers. Baricci, as a "small producer", has contributed to the fact that Brunello di Montalcino is now one of the great wines.
