M. Chapoutier
This 100% Syrah is a tribute to Maurice Monier de la Sizeranne, the former owner of the famous red Hermitage parcel. Sizeranne lost his sight after a hunting accident and dealt with this stroke of fate by designing an early short form of Braille. Since 1996, every Chapoutier label has been adorned with a Braille translation. This circumstance, and especially the drop dedicated to him, would undoubtedly have delighted Maurice Monier.

The slightly smoky taste is round and full-bodied and the heady finish lingers for what feels like eternity. A majestic drop full of gentle, concentrated tannins that is one of those wine experiences you will never forget.
