The Falkensteiner Rosenberg is truly a historic vineyard. Already in the Middle Ages, it was considered a hallmark of quality, as documented in the "Bergtaiding-Büchl" of 1309. With its southern exposure, protected location, and formation 15 million years ago on the edge of the Carpathian primordial sea, it's not only rich in fossils and limestone but also contributes to this quality wine's ability to captivate with elegance, a multifaceted taste profile, and a refreshing mineral note – a characteristic that originates precisely here.

Pressed after a short maceration period and fermented for 4 to 6 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks. From certified sustainable cultivation to vinification and bottling, the entire process mirrors the environmental consciousness of the leading Weingut Dürnberg, which sets standards in organic winemaking.
Aroma: Inviting aroma with intense stone fruit notes and a cool, mineral spiciness. On the palate, it's full-bodied with juicy apricot fruit, lively fruit-acid interplay, and an invigorating drinking flow.
Pairing recommendation: This wine pairs excellently with smoked trout with horseradish cream, sweet-sour Asian dishes, soy-based dishes, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, risotto alla milanese, grilled/pan-fried char, grilled whitefish, halibut with capers, baked trout, ginger-infused dishes, roast suckling pig with coleslaw, fondue bouguignonne, veal chop, braised venison loin.
