Christina Hugl
Nestled in the heart of the Kamptal, the vineyards of Ried Grub offer an exceptional terroir for crafting sparkling wines. With 26 hectares of vines, 18% of which are terraced, the vineyards are located at elevations ranging from 222 to 355 meters and face a southeast direction. The fruit is hand-harvested, undergoes whole-cluster pressing, and is spontaneously fermented, unfiltered, and hand-riddled. The wine is aged for a minimum of 47 months on the lees, developing a deep complexity and a refined character that reflects the unique conditions of this remarkable region.
