The Joiser Jungenberg has been documented as a top Joiser site for over 800 years. The vines face southeast toward the lake, which naturally allows the grapes to ripen earlier. The soil consists of mica slate and is overlaid with shell limestone in the lower part. Only the best and oldest Blaufränkisch vines from this site are used for this exceptional red wine.
