The long-standing tradition of processing apples into excellent cider at Kühbrein Hof is not only well-known in Styria. Apple cider has been produced here for generations. Knowledge and expertise have been passed down, allowing for an improvement in quality with each generation. Nevertheless, the cider from the past cannot be compared to today's exclusive apple wine. Moving away from old prejudices and making young, fruity, sparkling cider socially acceptable is the goal of an increasing number of quality cider producers in Styria. The highest quality is already considered when selecting the apples, with particular attention given to old Styrian varieties.
