A wine with an intense dark color. The nose is characterized by freshness that combines depth and complexity. All the aromatic characteristics of a future great Lafite in its youth are present. On the palate, the attack is delicate and gradually gains power. The wine quickly develops volume and fills the mouth completely, but without ever being aggressive. 2019 is one of the years in which the Lafite terroir has demonstrated its ability to produce opulent, silky wines with a balanced finish. A strikingly harmonious Lafite that is already approachable but of course well equipped to age for many years to come. It will undoubtedly be great in 10 to 15 years, but like the greatest vintages, it will hold up much longer and will still be enjoyable in 2050 and beyond.
