The 2012 wine year was hampered by winter and spring frosts, hail and fungal diseases, which had an impact on the yield, which was rather low. The dry and sunny summer allowed the grapes to ripen perfectly, resulting in an exceptional harvest.
The wine has a white-golden colour with a fine shimmer.
A floral bouquet of great complexity, with notes of citrus fruits and white peaches.
A very present wine with a lively attack and great finesse with a pleasant minerality and notes of grapefruit on the finish.
Grape varieties: 50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir

The independent champagne house Laurent-Perrier looks back on more than 210 years, many influences, strong women who led it and above all Bernard de Nonancourt, who created the Laurent-Perrier style in the middle of the 20th century that is still valid today: freshness, elegance, purity. Almost exclusively Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are processed. The special thing about this is that each vineyard is vinified separately to allow for a wide range of flavours, terroirs and styles in the blend.
