Laurent Perrier
Medium yellow-green, silver-coloured reflections, very fine, delicate, persistent mousseux. Delicate notes of roasted hazelnut, biscuit, white tropical fruit, but also mandarins, passion fruit and Turkish honey, floral aspects, a hint of nougat and candied grapefruit. Juicy on the palate, yellow tropical fruit, finesse-rich acidity structure, silky body, delicate apricot flavours, mineral notes from the long bottle ageing, delicate chalky nuances, fine salty touch, perfectly combines the Grand Siècle DNA elements of freshness, structure and finesse, this champagne is of the greatest delicacy and length, happy who may encounter this drink of the gods.
The cuvée from 1999 (60 %), 1997 (20 %) and 1996 (20 %) is only the second release from "les Réserves" since the premiere with No. 17, which was launched on the market to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the house in 2012. (Deg. 6/2022, Vk. 10/22)
The independent champagne house Laurent-Perrier looks back on more than 210 years, many influences, strong women who led it and above all Bernard de Nonancourt, who created the Laurent-Perrier style in the middle of the 20th century that is still valid today: freshness, elegance, purity. Almost exclusively Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are processed. The special thing about this is that each vineyard is vinified separately to allow for a wide range of flavours, terroirs and styles in the blend.
