Erwin Sabathi
Noble aromas, salty sea breeze, verbena; endless facets,
puristic yet restrained woody notes; highly refined on the palate, the
acidity is perfectly embedded in the fine extract; discreet lemony traces,
resinous spice, lime tones and flint; silky texture, enormous length with enormous
enormous potential - pure harmony.
Recommended with: baked porcini mushrooms, morel and truffle dishes, strong and expressive meat dishes (Mediterranean and Asian), osso buco,
braised meat, lamb, ragout, game (venison, wild boar), Martin goose,
foie gras.

The Ried Pössnitzberg is predestined as a special white wine terroir. The interplay of the soil structure and climatic factors make this vineyard so distinctive and the wines of the Chardonnay grape variety so authentic. Chardonnay so authentic. The grapes for "Ried Pössnitzberger Kapelle Chardonnay" come from a
vineyard on the Pössnitzberg, where there is a small, old chapel. As early as the 1960s, the then landowner and Karl Rengo, then landowner and manager of this vineyard, named his wines "Pössnitzberger Kapelle". This
wine from the Pössnitzberg is one of our rarities, is finely mineral, enormously salty on the palate with a taut structure and has a high longevity. The harvest is limited to a maximum of 45hl. "Erwin Sabathi
